The Elijah Lovejoy Society proudly presents this website that highlights Missouri as a window into the nation’s rich diversity. This region is uniquely situated at the confluence of two great rivers, the Missouri and the Mississippi.
Pioneer adventurers passed through these parts on their way to the western sea. You might say that Missouri is the crossroads to the nation, a cradle of great American values, institutions, and traditions. “Missouri is America; America is Missouri.”
